Steamed Shrimp

The shrimp may be sprinkled with your favorite spice or herb before cooking, if desired.

1 lb. shrimp, fresh or frozen and defrosted

Place shrimp in a circle, uniform depth, in microwave casserole or dish. Sprinkle with herbs. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes on High power (100%), rearranging if cooking does not seem uniform. DO NOT OVERCOOK. Shrimp will be pink when done. Serve with red sauce or lemon if desired.
